1. Scope and who we are

The website at claimdra.com is operated under the Claimdra name. In this policy, “Claimdra,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Claimdra website.

This policy applies to our public website and the self-help features we make available, including account access, demand-letter preparation, evidence organization, and mailing workflows.

Claimdra is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. If you create an account or use a self-help workflow, we may receive your name, account email address, dispute description, letter content, requested amount, contact details, evidence you choose to upload, and the information needed to prepare a mailing order, including sender and recipient names and addresses.

Website and device information. We may receive your IP address, browser type, operating system, device category, language, page path, date and time of access, referring page, UTM campaign fields, interactions with the website, and security or diagnostic information.

Browser identifier. The website generates or retrieves a pseudonymous visitor identifier and stores it in your browser's local storage. The identifier helps us distinguish repeat visits and understand website performance; it does not by itself identify you by name.

3. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

We use local storage and may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand how visitors use the website, and protect the service.

We use analytics and website-logging providers to measure traffic, understand website performance, and diagnose technical issues. These providers may receive device, network, and usage information according to their own privacy notices.

We do not currently use website information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can clear local storage and manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Some website functions may not work as intended if storage technologies are disabled.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to vendors that provide hosting, content delivery, analytics, logging, security, communications, and technical support. If you choose an address check or submit a mailing order, we send the selected mailing address to our mailing provider, PostGrid, to verify or standardize the address, fulfill the order, and provide tracking. For a submitted mailing order, we also send the letter PDF and the sender and recipient mailing details needed to fulfill and track the order. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to their contractual obligations.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or respond to a lawful government request.

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business. We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and establishing or defending legal claims.

The browser identifier remains in local storage until it is cleared by you, your browser, or the website. Retention periods for service-provider logs depend on operational settings, legal requirements, and the type of record.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you should use care when deciding what information to send online.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about how personal information is used and disclosed.

The website is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.
